It's the middle school version of "The Night Circus." So wonderful!

What a fabulously magical book!

I thought this book was great and definitely want to get a copy to share with my son.

I read this book to my class of 4th graders and they absolutely loved it. Many checked out the same book at the library to read along with me. The story was well-written an moved at a fast pace. The fantasy elements were easy to visualize based on the authors description. I cannot wait to read more by this author and already own her second book.

In this charming fantasy, Micah Tuttle goes in search of the mythical Circus Mirandus to help fulfill his dying grandfather's request for a miracle. I'm not sure if this will have huge kid appeal, but it's just my sort of book. See my full review here.

Must-reads

When your niece tells you a book is a must-read, especially when it's the right kind of niece, you read it right away. So far my niece is 3 for 3. This was gorgeous.

This was all kinds of adorable.

I'm on the chapter entitled the man who bends light - about a third of the way in. Put it aside and just not into it anymore. May try again later. Been reading the netgalley.

Started the audiobook and I'm enjoying it much more! I started from the beginning and even though I had read it before it was totally engaging. The narrator (Balki from Perfect Strangers!) is absolutely fantastic. He does great voices. Now I can't wait to get into the car and listen!
