I don't always love her writing style, but it's just a really comfortable, heartening experience to read what she has to say about decisions as a spiritual experience.

Friends, this book! We live in a world that is constantly asking us to make decisions and decision fatigue is no joke. This book was such an encouragement! We see all throughout scripture people who didn’t know God’s greater plan and had no idea how the ending would all work out but they did the next right thing in obedience. That’s all that God asks of us. This book is reread material! Can’t recommend enough!

I’m in a transition time of my life and I cannot express how perfect this book was for right now. I savored it, reading a chapter a day. If you’re going through some changes or needing to make a decision, read this book!

She called it minimalism for the soul. Obviously religious, so it’s not for everyone, but I really liked it.

Emily's latest book is such a breath of fresh air. It is encouraging, inspiring and practical too. I will be giving this as a gift for graduations and other momental occasions.

I have read nearly all of Emily P. Freeman’s books, and she has a lot of good things to say. The Next Right Thing started as a podcast, but now it is becoming a book. I got to read an advance copy, and I have to tell you, it is fantastic (at least for this tired decision-maker).

In her forthcoming book, The Next Right Thing, Emily P. Freeman has done a lovely job of expanding and expounding upon the ideas that she addresses each week in her podcast of the same name. She consistently encourages her readers to slow down and pray about decisions instead of just rushing into something on a whim. Emily offers practical tools and daily practices that help you focus in on where God is working in your life. She points out Biblical truth about decision-making, dealing with decision fatigue, and discerning what is your best Next Right Thing.
