I enjoyed this book a lot. I loved the characters and baseball player and agent intern was very fun. They had chemistry fast into the story and I love how they built their relationship up.

I can’t wait to see the next stories in the series.

I had so much fun reading this! It was great being back in this world and seeing Brady and Damon again. I loved how Kelley and Thad’s situationship/relationship started and how quickly Thad and Kelley bonded once Thad stopped being an asshole. Thad was so good at calming Kelley down and they both just worked really well together. I also liked a lot of the side characters and I’m very interested to see whose book is next!

The first instalment of Eden Finlay's new King Sports series and it's already off to a great start.

The premise - Thad is an intern agent who's struggling with not making it as a professional baseball player, and Kelley is the anxious rookie pitcher who seems to have everything Thad ever wanted. Thad resents Kelley and definitely does not hide how he feels.

I really enjoyed the character development. At the beginning of the book I really didn’t like Thad but by then end I was definitely team Thad. Kelley is super loveable and I think Eden did a great job portraying his anxiety disorder.

All and all, really enjoyed it. Low angst, HEA, lots of funny parts and delicious spice. Plus lots of the other Sadenverse characters we all know and love. I can't wait for the rest of the books in this series!

Always love when we get even more Damon King in Saxon and Eden’s books. Thad and Kelley were sweet and wholesome to read. Between Kelley’s struggles with his anxiety and Thad’s bitterness it was nice to see how they worked through the beginning struggles of their “situationship” and how Thad gave Kelley a way to let go and truly be himself without judgement or fear. I loved seeing the behind the scenes of Brady’s story in the Catskills and obviously getting all of the Brady/Damon scenes we did. Thad and Kelley may not have been super spicy but where they lacked in hotness regarding their physical relationship they definitely made up for in their friendship and emotional connection I felt while reading their love story. Definitely looking forward to all future King Sports books. Also gotta say hearing how Oscar is retired now during this series timeline was sort of heartbreaking because I want all of these characters to forever be immortal lol. Also give me an enemies to lovers coworkers romance between Linc and Archer please and thank you!

This was good! Thad was annoying in the beginning but that is what ~character development~ is for. I enjoyed the main couple and their relationship, spice was good and emotion was there.  Loved seeing some old favorites (will always love Damon 😭😭😭) and excited by the new blood and where this series is headed.

I’m so happy I got an ARC to this book! I love that we get to see more of Damon and Brady

I loved this book!!! I was laughing, giggling, kicking my feet, swooning. The chemistry, the sweetness, the understanding. Ugh.

Plus it was so fun to get more of Damon. Love him. And I love the relationship between him and Brady. So sweet!

I think this is getting added to the comfort read rotation. Eden has a way of creating characters and stories that feel so wholesome. I can't get enough!

I generally enjoyed this book. I particularly liked Kelley as a character and found his anxiety very relatable. Thad was a harder character for me to grasp. He flipped his attitude very abruptly from being resentful and not trying at his internship to being much more empathetic and working hard with late hours. It seemed too sudden for me.
After the first two weeks of forced proximity, it didn't really seem like Thad and Kelley talked to each other very much or spend that much time together. Like, you saw the spark at the beginning but not the real connection. I felt like it made the whole Thad

not quite earned. Also, in general, I thought the timeline was a bit wibbly-wobbly.
