I don’t know. I liked the whole cult aspect but the repeated use of the word “folds” grated on my nerves pretty badly. It was a free book from stuff your kindle day so it wasn’t a total loss. But I won’t be continuing with the series. And his pet name of lovely annoyed me. I’m not sure why, but it did. There were also numerous typos/mistakes that took me out of the story. I know it’s spicy romance, but I still want it to be written/edited well.

Skimmed quite a bit of the last 1/2 of the book.  Not a ton of plot.

The story line is a great one. Adults trying to break from their religious cult upbringing. The “scenes” take away from the story greatly. I want to know the brothers’ plan for the escaping the religion. I want to know how they will get from under their father. I want to know if they help their mom escape, etc. I skipped most of the smutty part because I wanted to know the actual story. Hopefully the next book will be better (there were A LOT of typos in this book).

DNF at 68% because it was all too flimsy for me to want to stick it out for any conflict.

This was very good in the beginning, and then very good at the end. The middle two hundred pages was basically just sex after sex after sex. Which, isn’t always a bad thing but I feel like there wasn’t much of a character development between the sex.

I also felt like at times they were very robotic with each other. This could be cuz they both were raised in Zion but they spoke to each other like two AI bots talking.

I am excited to pick up the next one!

eurgh. took me over 2 months to finish and I definitely skimmed over half the book. boring, dull, dragged on for far too long and repetitive as fuck. If Levi was considered a proper dom then I'll eat my shoe. DNF-ing this series which is a shame because it would have been amazing.

This is a great book for someone who wants to be introduced to Kink through romance books.
