I loved this book! Read by the author, which makes it that much better. Funny, but also touches on serious topics. Definitely recommend!
I really enjoyed Amy's book and listening to her stories of the good and bad times as a comedian and actress. I'd definitely recommend to those who want a deeper look into her life.
This book reads like Amy Schumer sounds on TV--you can easily imagine her speaking the words. It's funny, of course--I laughed out loud a lot while reading. But it is also poignant and doesn't sugarcoat the tougher times Ms. Schumer has seen.
I like that Amy is really upfront about mistakes she has made, and talks about what she learned from them without being fake about it.
I was very touched by the passages about her father, and about the two young women who were shot and killed at a screening of 'Trainwreck'.
Fans will appreciate this book the most, but even non-fans will get something out of it.

Meh. I have to quit reading memoirs just because they are available at the library. I would have preferred to just watch Trainwreck a few more times.
3.5 stars. Good for what it was. Funny with some serious, important moments. Recommend if you’re a fan; wouldn’t recommend if you’re not.
This one was mixed. I think Amy Schumer is hilarious. Trainwreck was surprisingly awesome (I generally don't like movies that are comedies.)
About 50% of the book was great. There were a few really important / powerful sections - one on abuse and one on gun violence - that drew from Amy's experiences and she has subsequently become an advocate against (abuse and gun violence ...)
There were long stretches that I didn't find all that interesting. It's the challenge of combining a memoir with humor with current reality.
Here annotate diary entries were epic. Worth the cost of the book.

Wasn't a fan. In fact, if it wasn't running on it's own as an audiobook in my car, it would have never happened. I like her as an actress and comedienne....author? Not so much.
My partner and I listened to the audiobook on a long road trip. It was enjoyable, and often surprising -- he gives it 4 stars, I give it 3.
I wouldn't call myself an Amy Schumer fan, but mainly because I haven't really taken the time to watch anything of hers.. anyways, I'm a fan of listening to these types of books, especially those by comedians. However, I found Amy's book incredibly depressing. I appreciate that she was taking the book as an opportunity to take a stand on several deep topics. I agree with her message in several situations, but overall I wasn't expecting that type of content in her book and found it pretty depressing. She even talks about why she addresses the heavy topics in the book and I respect that candor. On the lighter areas of the book, her humor isn't really for me and that's alright.
Definitely better than I had anticipated. It gives a look into her life that isn't just all sex jokes (although there's your fair share of those as well).
