I was surprised that I enjoyed this book as much as I did. The chapters that were serious were well written, earnest and at times heartbreaking. Highly recommend.

Funny (goes without saying) but surprisingly earnest and touching as well and simply well-written. She is a deadly combination -- funny, smart and badass. Love her!

I listened to Amy read this on Audible. Some parts were funny but mostly this book was trite.

Found this book to be more than I expected and enjoyed it more too. Amy reads it and that may have enhanced it for me too. Not a fan or having known much about her before this book I learned a lot (too much?) about her life and appreciated her brutal honesty!

If you enjoy Amy Schumer and her comedy then you will love this book. She is funny, insightful, honest and human. I laughed out aloud, her voice is authentic and her humor razor sharp. Love her!

Listened to the audiobook so Amy herself was narrating. So funny! And the more serious chapters were meaningful. I love her unapologetically honest approach to life, and also her love of food.

3.5. I wanted to enjoy this more than I enjoyed it. Certainly some good moments, but it actually made me like her a bit less, which I would guess was not her intention.

I would have never rated this a 5 had I not listened to the book as an audio book narrated by Amy. It was a real, raw, and funny book.

Yes!

I love Amy Schumer, I know some people don't since she is a little vulgar. I, myself, have quite a foul mouth and absolutely love her.

I expected this boOK to be funny, which it was, but it also got very real at times. Amy opens up about some things in her past that are genuinely terrifying. She talks about how different she used to be and how she's grown into an independent and strong woman bcause of the awful things in her past.

It was a great book, and I recommend it to anyone.
