I really like the that the story is told through Cadence’s broken memories. It l added a strong sense of mystery of what really happened during that  summer 15. That said, there were moments where the pacing was slow and I found my attention drifting. Some parts felt a bit drawn out, and I just wanted to get to the bottom of the story.
But the plot twist completely caught me off guard. It was unexpected and hit hard emotionally. It actually made me want to re-read the book, and see if there were any subtle clues and see how everything adds up.

Read this book ages ago and forget the ending and wow it was a doozy for sure.

The writing style was weird for me, it's my first
But the storyline was okay
