By living through a pandemic I enjoyed comparing this eerily similar but also unrealistic rendition of a contagion to our current reality. I also very much liked the on-the-run aspect of this book as it was exactly what I was looking for!

Heart pounding mystery thriller. Callie, Kai and Shay are caught in an outbreak of a highly contagious disease. A small portion are immune, like Kai. An even smaller portion survive, and develop strange abilities as a result. Shay has done so. And Callie...Callie is something completely different...

A brilliant opening to this trilogy, fast paced and terrifying. The only problem now is, I have to wait for the next one to see what happens next! Let's hope it's not too long, I'm dying...but not of Glasgow Flu...to see what becomes of them!
