Awesome triology! It was suggested by a member in my book club and not what I had expected. I loved the main character, and liked that she was a modern witch. It surprised me how much I enjoyed the series. I could read them again!

Overall an interesting and captivating story. I loved the historical and alchemy references, I just wish authors would move on from the tired Twilight trope - men can love you without being abusive! The protagonist eventually found herself, sort of, and became a force in her own right. An excellent read if you can see past the abusive relationships.
