This wasn’t it for me, nothing pulling me in from the start. The characters that appear to be secrets, and the tables being turned with no great reveal was a massive let down.

This was a very compelling read, with each chapter leaving me wanting to find out what happens next.
I particularly enjoyed the way it was revealed that the narrator was actually a very unpleasant person.
Things took a strange turn about three-quarters of the way through the book, when the narrator hits his head and effectively spends the rest of the book hallucinating. The thing I really took issue with was that he had a severe head injury, to the point where he hallucinating and seizures, but the doctor just tells him to go home and rest? That was so unrealistic to me that I (wrongly) thought he'd actually died at this point but didn't realise he was dead.

Quite slow and hard to get into with a quick pace change
I had to persevere through this one and I wish hadn't. It wasn't totally awful but I didn't find it believable. I didn't like any of the characters either which made it difficult to even root for who you might think is the 'Good guy'

The first half of this book was fast paced and intriguing. The last half was confusing, odd and boring. No likeable characters and I didn’t particularly care about the outcome.
Unfortunately this just didn't do it for me.
I didn't really enjoy the characters, nor the premise behind the story. There was, however, a great twist that I didn't see coming, and for a chapter or two I was once again intrigued about what was going to happen next.
I did enjoy the way the story closed out, in the sense that we are left to make up our own mind on where the truth lay.
