Probably the most horrifying reading experience I'ev ever encountered.
One of the scariest books I ever read. I had nightmares when I was reading it. The only thing I liked better in the movie was the hedge maze as opposed to the topiaries in the book. The topiaries were too out-there, I thought, but the maze was cool. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

I actually really enjoyed this, more than any other Stephen King I’ve read—fast paced and engaging, creepy and a satisfactorily spooky Halloween read!
This was my first time reading Stephen King... I loved the imagery and suspense of the story. I'm also not a big fiction reader but was very pleasantly surprised (and very glad it was indeed fiction!).
