Where do I begin? I loved the character, King, but Mia pissed me off. She was whiny and acted like a princess. I just wanted her to shut up and listen to what King said. With that being said, I did love this book. Mia finally caught on towards the end and I'm looking forward to reading the next book.

WTF?????

This is such a intriguing beginning to the series. I was never sure just what King was so I wanted to find out. I really enjoyed this book

Only part 1!!

It was a good story, but i dont appreciate cliff hangers with more expensive continuation. Would love to know what happens next but won't pay 2.99x2 to see how it ends.

Fabulously intriguing.

Loved the book. Kept me turning the pages. This author has a way of developing mysterious men. On to part 2!

So what happens next?!?

This book will keep you on your toes.
King is a mystery. A big one! Mia has a death wish and everyone else is blind to the sights in front of them.

As I'm reading this book I'm trying to figure out what King is. I have a few theories. One being he's a cursed Ancient Egyptian looking for peace. Second theory is, his like the beast from Beauty and the Beast. He is in need of love so his heart can feel or grow. The last one may be out there but it's still plausible. He is an Alien and has been stunk on Earth for a long time. Also, the people that have these gifts are descendants of said aliens.
Anyhow, this is a great book for those who live in the dark but seek the light. If you like a good mystery this is for you too. I really enjoyed this book. I could hardly put it down.

Wow. Really bad. I hated every single character except Mack. And I feel like I barely know him. Pass on this book.

Noooot really sure how to classify this one. This technically qualifies as a serial novel, each of the three installments is roughly novella-length and they don't really end of severe cliffhangers. There's a supernatural element to this book, and it's... strangely compelling and infuriating all at once. This one is all about the UST and dubcon. There are also mentions of murder, torture, and rape.

Like most serial novels, this first taste is free, but expect to pay a modest amount for the second one and double that for the third. (So really, you're paying about the same for all of them.)

CAVEAT LECTUR: As the series goes on, it gets more convoluted and bizarre, but still mostly enjoyable. Characterization goes downhill, and expect more dubcon, actual explicit sex, and secret organizations.
