Bailey and Drew's story was interesting, but definitely not what I expected, Bailey is a character that needs to pull her life back together, she has a past that had her going into some problems and she is now recovering. Drew is a club owner, they both connect and so they fight it but still can't help their attraction. They both have their own dragons and baggage so you will find yourself in an emotional roller-coaster trying to figure how these two can finally get together. The topics approached in the book might not be for everyone but they are certainly part of real-life and so I really like the way the author approaches the subjects. Definitely one you want to read if you love Ava Harrison books.

Bailey Jameson is a girl with a past. She’s a recovering addict. Upon starting a new job at bar, that her potential brother in law sets up, we meet Drew. An Adonis god himself. Clearly the sexual tension is ignitable.
There are so many highs and lows that build into what can become of those two.

There are a lot of triggers in this read. - drugs, rape, addiction, alcohol.

I honestly thought Carter was going to play in some part of Baileys down fall, but he did not. He was an all around “trying to be better for himself” character in the end.
The mothers in this read also took me for a spin. I didn’t expect the whole dotting mother after the clip about her taking the money and running. I guess they made amends? Not sure if blending that right.
The tiny sob story with Drew’s mother was enough to pluck at the heart strings. It seemed a little fake to me. Fake fiction. Maybe it was just how it was written but it was an eyeroll for me.

I crushed this read in one day. The sex scenes are great. They’re filled with lust an passion. Something every good romance needs, in my opinion.
We, of course, get our HEA. Not to mention the finale of Bailey truly accomplishing what she wanted to do all along. Go back to school.

Tempted by Ava Harrison is the second book that I've read from her but I didn't quite enjoy it as much as I did in her previous book. This book is not bad but it's not entirely good either. It was pretty meh for me. To be honest, the entire storyline was pretty interesting but I couldn't really connect myself with the entire story especially the couples. There are a couple of things that I did enjoy from this book but I kinda feel like something is missing. Overall, this book is kinda okay for me but I think that it can be much better. One of the things that I love about this book is the writing and I really enjoyed it. I hope the next book will interest me more than this one and I'm really looking forward for it.

*ARC received for an honest review *

Tempted was the first book I read of Ava Harrison. And it was really good. It involved issues that many people suffer from in real life.

Drew & Bailey are two broken people with a really bad pasts. They both were addicts & had to go through a their own trauma to get clean n better.

When they met each other they were in a place where they were barely living. They both held a lot of guilt from their pasts which they blame themselves for. They both had chemistry from the first itself. They both cared about each other. They were strong in their own ways. When they got together, they slowly started healing each other & overcome their past.

What surprised me the most was Drew. He wasn't like the other billionaires I have read about. He was concerned of Bailey from the start after knowing about her past. He made sure that even though she was working in a club, she wouldn't revert back to her addiction. And when he realised it is hard for her to work there, he chose to give her work that she deserves n can handle it without any pressure.

There were times were I felt the story was rushed. Like how they suddenly got together n next they were in a serious relationship. I felt a little bit more development would have been nice. But still the story was good.

I'm glad they got the ending they both deserved after such a long road of suffering n pain. I hope they are living their lives amazingly.

Thank you once again Ms. Harrison n Grey's promotions for providing me with this arc.

I loved the storyline of Bailey and Drew's story. I loved how strong both of them are and unconsciously they help each other fight off their demons especially Bailey. I admire her strength and she's not afraid to admit that she failed even though it wasn't her fault. I can really say that their character development is so well-written. There are depths to each of their characters, they're dealing with their own emotions. However, I don't really feel the chemistry or romantic growth between them. I think that's the only flaw in this story. But still, it is a good read!

I enjoyed listening to Tempted by Ava Harrison. Ava Harrison has a talent for creating relatable characters with deep, dark pasts. This book is narrated by Joe Arden and Andi Arndt.

Bailey is the new bartender at Silver, the hottest nightclub in the city. Bailey is a recovering addict that has been clean for two years. The bartending job is a temptation, but Bailey desperately needs the money. Drew is the hottest man, Bailey has ever seen in her life. He just so happens to be her new boss. Both characters have secrets from their pasts. Will they be able to overcome those secrets to be together?

Joe and Andi give amazing performances in this book. Joe portrays Drew as the perfect alpha boss and protector. Andi does a great job conveying Bailey’s vulnerability and trust issues. When you listen to these narrators you always find yourself fully immersed in the story.

Overall, I enjoyed this audiobook! Ava Harrison has written a captivating story that hooked me from the very beginning. I am looking forward to reading/ listening more from her.
