Fourth installment of this series was as gripping as rest of the books so far. The focus of this book as per the synopsis is Starflight. It was really heart warming story.

There are a lot of things that happen in this book. A lot of questions are answered in this book ...like

- What was the root of the prophecy?
- Why were the night wings getting kidnapped?
- Why nightwings are too involved etc?
- Why Starflight doesn't have any special powers?

But the flow of the book is very good ... It describes why Starflight is that way and how he moulds himself through experiences in this book.

So far what I am gathering from these books is that the dragonets are smart. Though they may not know everything, they are very perceptive and a good team. They learn from each other and the surroundings and are slowly burgeoning to their path for greatness.

This series grew on me as I went. Book 3 may be my favorite so far, but 3, 4, and 5 were all great. I wasn’t sure how far I’d get—I was actually pretty shocked at the violence (even torture) in the first book. Especially considering the age range this series is geared to. But I’m glad I stuck with it. Book 5, as I understand it, is a finish of an arc. A new arc covers 6-10, and then so on. I’ll go on to book 6 after I read some other things. It was a good stopping point to mix things up.

This was my least favourite from the first series. It wasn't bad by any means and certainly not as bad as some later entries, but Starflight is my least favourite out of the original 5 so i didn't find his book as interesting as the rest of them, especially because the rest of the characters are absent throughout most of this book as it mainly takes place on the island where Nightwings live.

The climax was still good though, saving the prisoners, the island going up in flames because the volcano explodes and Morrowseer finally dying was great. And I loved that final reveal that the prophecy was faked and what their plan was.

I know that that affected Sunny the most so I can't wait to read the final book that is from her POV and that mainly takes place in the desert. It should be a good finale.
