A captivating suspense novel told in multiple point of views and timelines. I listened to this one, and it totally kept me on my toes. Great ending that made the slow burn worth it!

DID NOT FINISH: 26%

It grabbed me in the beginning but it slowed down a lot between 60-100 pages in. There’s so many character POVs that it was hard to keep track and made the story drag as it took away from the main plot. I wasn’t thrilled enough to continue to find out who Martha was and what happens with the characters

Unfortunately, I can't bring myself to care about any character at all. The multi-POV is confusing and sometimes felt redundant. It made me more detached from the story instead of feeling more connected.

I found the first half of the book exciting but lost interest about halfway through.
Just okay.

Couldn’t put this one down; so fun and some great, unexpected turns!

I enjoyed this. For me, it’s somewhere between 3 and 4 stars.

I didn’t really find especially suspenseful or thrilling. I wanted certain characters to be more wicked. Some of the writing was a bit repetitive.

That being said, it’s not every book that has a twist that both surprises me and makes total sense! So I was very happy during a good portion of this. It was interesting and had some real thought-provoking moments.
Happy to have read it!
