Well, well, well... my cherries went Up, Up, Up & straight into oblivion after reading this book by Author Katherine Stevens.

OH boy my inner geeky girl totally came out in full force with this book!

Who doesn't love a strong, crazy, silly cosplaying chick who is looking for her Han Solo she once found a long time ago in a teenage galaxy not so far away.

Oh my Finn!!  That cover is perfect picture of the gorgeous and equally geeky fanboy that you will totally FANGIRL over.  Seriously if this man exists, tell me where and when to meet him here in NYC.

Loved the visually stunning words that came to life as I read their story.

Seriously this quick funny read is one to go pick up in this series!

May the A99 Aquata be with you! (You have to read to get the reference)

I'm in two mind with this book, which seems to a running theme for me at the moment.

With 'Going Up' I found it quite slow for the first half of the book, until we were reunited with Fin. From that point it was like a whirlwind. Everything happened so fast it was ridiculous and so far fetched.

I liked Fin and Maggie, they had their niggles which annoyed me especially when Maggie completely blew Fin off once she found out his surname. That was just a little too dramatic even for Maggie.

This was just a crazy, over the top read which was funny in parts but didn't have me completely creased with laughter like I was expecting or looking forward to.

Sometimes you just need an over the top laugh out loud dramatic silly read and this book is definitely that in abundance

Maggie meets Finn when she's 16 at Comic con but due to unforeseen circumstances she can't get in touch with him afterward. So let her years of bad dating commence she picks the worst possible suitors and the blatant attempt of her mother setting her up with suitors she thinks are suitable is a match made in mayhem. I loved Maggies niavety and her lust for all things strange and wacky which was really refreshing for a rich spoilt little girl and made me love her all the more.

Fast forward the years and tada Maggie and Finn are reunited once again at comic con at this point in the book I don't think I could laugh anymore but boy was I wrong so wrong the hilarity just keeps coming and there relationship is just fabulous. I'm not a big fan of insta-love but it really works in this instance as they both never forgot the one they met as teens so it was like all the years in between never happened let the whackiest, funniest craziest whirlwind commence!!!!!

This is without doubt one of the funniest books I've read in a good while and my first by Katherine Stevens and definitely won't be my last a laugh out loud 4.5 stars from me!!!!!

I voluntarily received an advanced review copy of this book and chose to review it.

I'm sorry, but these two were just too weird for me. Maggie was insane and totally out of touch. Finn was slightly better. I felt there was way too much time setting everything up, almost half the book was stuff I didn't really care for, and not enough time on the romance. Sorry, it just didn't do anything for me.
