Possibly the best book in the series thus far. I *cannot* wait to read her latest - Murder at the Mansions!

This is another light, enjoyable entry into this series. Olive and Jasper's relationship develops a bit more. We find out more about Jasper. Low-key entertaining mystery.

This was my favorite of the series so far! Christmas in the 1920s with crosswords and jigsaw puzzles… what more could I ask for?? I feel like the last book in the series turned a corner and they’re even better now - better writing, the characters feel more flushed out, and good historical details. I really appreciate Sara Rosett’s research (I’m still loving the story behind the story chapter at the end of each book). If you haven’t already, check out her Pinterest account. She has a board for each book in the series. It’s so fun to see her inspiration and it helps me picture everything with more detail. I’m excited to be caught up and look forward to the next installment… hopefully, with many more to come.
