I really loved this one. Seeing a mature heroine was so wonderful! And getting a sense of the world at large here was exciting. This may be my favourite addition to this series, and I am stoked to read about Syasku and Vivian next. We were introduced to a ton of new Naga in this book, and I'm intrigued to see who all will get their own books in the future.

I’ve read all of the Naga Brides other than King Cobra (I know bad bad, but it didn’t pique my interest until this one!), I love this series and I can’t wait for the next one. It’s a series I’ll always come back to. I loved Laura and Azsote’s relationship and that she was an older woman?? I’m only 25 myself but I love when a book has an older protagonist! I’m tired of reading books where the protagonist is a teenager. I loved the development in this story of trusting people and deciding to be selfish, we all deserve that right? Overall it was great!

Not my favorite of this series, but still a fantastic read. Laura and Azsote are great for each other, they balance each other nicely. There was drama in the story line outside of the romance, though not much, but just enough that it feels like we’re moving forward in this Naga world. Laura is an invaluable asset to the new clan of mates, so thankfully she’s an interesting character that we will no doubt be seeing more of. Seeing the other women and nagas is always enjoyable, I love a callback, and we got plenty of them.

I’m greatly looking forward to the next book! I can tell it’s going to be a wild ride!

A mature woman. a possible woman who leaves.
They had a mission but they end up together.
A wonderful romance. More hybrids. THERE IS A COMMUNITY. BUT THE FUCKING HUMANS WON’T STAY AWAY FROM EARTH AND NAGAS SO FUCK HUMANS.
Anywho, I love this series, I don’t want to wait, but I have to, and i’m going to cry about it, because it started as a joke and i’m addicted now.

Do I read monster/alien romance for the plot? Meh, not really.

Do I enjoy them? Absolutely!

For me, this trope is great a palate cleanser between heavier books.

Boom Slang was still fun, and sexy with all the pent up tension of them trying to resist each other, but it did also carry on the main plot that runs through the whole series, which leant it more of a serious feel in a way.

Laura was a doctor on a spaceship, desperate to help overthrow the corrupt jerk that previously violated her in so many ways. But in her haste to do so, she ends up crashing on Earth, and being claimed by Azsote. A very green (in more ways than one), boom slang/naga/hybrid/snake man. Also really hot, which helps when you’re being claimed against your will.

But Azsote had good intentions. He’s prayed for a bride basically his whole life, and all he wants to do is take care of her. And breed her a lot. But once he realises that she wants nothing to do with him, he does try his best not to force her into anything. Bless his little green scales.

But of course Laura doesn’t make it easy for him with her big tatas and pheromones and constantly succumbing to his own pheromones. Rubbing all up on him and whatnot. Poor snake dude.

There was definitely less smut in this one than the previous books, but I enjoyed the girl gossip - about the hunky snake men - between the human women when they all finally met up. Daisy has zero filter. I love it.

Also, Earth sounds beautifully tranquil without all the pesky humans infesting it.

This one didn't do it for me

I really wanted to like this book but it just didn't hit like the other 4 have. After waiting so long for it to be released it was kind. Of anti climactic. I wasn't the biggest fan of the story line. I feel like the storyline probably could have been better and the pairing, I didn't hate it. I felt like the story plot was very repetitive, I'm still looking forward to book six and I can't wait to see what julia story is.
