I forgot how much I love this series and each new book reminds me. Azsote and Laura are perfectly matched. I like that she’s an intelligent woman with a clear goal. She might even be my favorite female so far, but I don’t think she quite edged out Daisy. It’s close though. Azsote is just so sweet. I loved him right from the start. Their relationship wasn’t easy, but I actually enjoyed that. It was great seeing the rest of the females and their mates. (As I said Daisy and Zaku are my favorite so I loved being with them so much). I can’t wait for the next book and will definitely be rereading this one quite a few times before that one comes out. Easily a new must read for me.

Meh; this one was fine - I'm missing the excitement from books 3/4. It's nice to see how the story's progressing but this book was VERY focused on Laura's self journey or whatever... which was just kind of boring. I'm assuming the next installment is about the Cottonmouth who was abducted at the beginning of this one - so I have hopes that'll have a little more going for it.

It was so great to be back in this series! I really liked how the FMC in this one was older than the previous ones, she even ends up going through menopause. This one seems more action driven as they’re constantly hiding/running from the ships than the previous books and a touch less smutty. I still really enjoyed it and I can’t wait for the next one!

BOOMSLANG WAS EVERYTHING! Gah! Every single book in this series is amazing, but this one was different. With the humans trying to recolonize the Earth, this story was rife with dangers, unknowns, and fear. Add in a revenge seeking doctor with very little outdoor experience, and everything is much more complicated.
Excellent story. Seriously, I wish I could give more stars.

Azsote may be my favorite Naga. And I love that Laura is an older FMC, verging on menopause.
