Wow, this was my first Grisham's book... It dragged a bit in the start but in the middle it became a page turner and I could not participate the end until the very last pages. Amazing twist in the plot. There were some lines which I could not understand but because I read it translated I choose to blame the translator. I really liked the criticism about the FBI and the legal system. There's only one thing I should mention and it is the fact that it seems that after the author finished the biggest, most important part, he ties the ends very fast and without over thinking but it didn't ruin the experience. I will surely try to read more books by John Grisham!
I'm not really into detective novels, but my dad insisted that I read this one. Well, I like any fiction about cons, but this book just did not surprise me. And I did not really like the writing style actualy, I don't know, it lacked something. Overall, the story line is good, interessting, just not that interesting, at least for me.
Meh. The narrator was great to listen too, but the story wasn't all that interesting to me.

Geen fan van dit boek. Grisham weet mij meestal wel te vermaken, sterker nog, ‘De jury’ is één van mijn favoriete boeken, maar dit verhaal is te ver gezocht. De schrijfstijl is vervelend, de personages spreken mij niet aan en er zijn geen rechtbankscenes. Veel andere boeken van Grisham raad ik aan, deze helaas niet.
This was an okay book. The beginning was kind of slow and then the story seemed to bounce around a LOT and I almost lost interest in it. Then as the end got closer it drew me back in. Overall it was just an okay book by John G.
