One of John Grisham's best!

An interesting read...I was slightly confused for most of the book and the ending was a little anti-climactic.

Grisham is back to writing interesting mysteries with neat twists- I am in favor of that.

Sloppy! It usually takes me a weekend to read a Grisham - I'm pretty sure it only took him a weekend to write this. Not up to his usual standards.

Definitely a page turner, had a “Trading Places” vibe

A little long and tedious but I liked the story. Think revenge and blackmail. A wronged man gets his version of justice in the end. There are a few surprises along the way, but you do find yourself rooting for the main character.

There's something comforting about reading a Grisham book at any given time. While this wasn't his best, it was a good filler. Intriguing, for sure.

I felt this was an excellent book and kept you on the edge. I kind of figured it out toward the end but it did have a lot of twists and turns.

This was a pretty clever and twisted plot. I don’t want to give anything away but it was pretty surprising.

I don't get all the hate the book gets in the reviews here. For me it was so cool! The plot, the pace, everything. Perhaps I didn't like the characters that much but I didn't feel that I actually need to like them in this kind of book to enjoy the story. For me it was all about the plot, the intricate plan that slowly becomes reality. I don't even care how far-fetched it is, I was hooked and that's what matters.
I finished the second half in one sitting, and honestly can't wait to start another one of Grisham's books.
