It was a creative premise and there were interesting scenes throughout but the connection between everything wasn’t as strong for me. I read stories with young main characters but that doesn’t always lead to a juvenile feeling story. However Karigan seemed to bring the story down multiple times with her immaturity which seemed in contrast with her actions. I don’t find myself interested in continuing the series.
