Here With Me

Brooke Montgomery

3.83 AVERAGE

tropes: age gap, small town, western/ranch setting, ex bf’s dad, workplace romance, protective older brothers, secret/forbidden relationship, dual POV, ‘he falls first’, forced proximity

i have never read an age gap romance and i may need to start. but, only small town types

Enjoyed the immediate connection between Noah and Fisher. I did think their age gap was slightly too big, but who am I to judge. I also didn’t love how rushed the ending felt, them getting married and pregnant straight away. As well as her best friend, weird. Fisher also wasn’t cowboy enough for me personally. Wont be reading the other books in the series.

This first book in the new Sugarland Creek series by Brooke Montgomery had all of the angst (heat, heart, and past trauma), all of the fun (mischievous brothers, a kooky best friend), and all of my favorite tropes:
✔️Age gap
✔️Forbidden romance
✔️Ex-boyfriend's father
✔️Small town
✔️Forced proximity

...And of course, a HEA. Can't wait to read the rest of the series. And I'd recommend reading the prequel, Come with Me, which is a great introduction to the Hollis family and to Sugarland Creek Ranch.

Small town, horses, big family, age gap and some mystery. I loved the atmosphere of Sugarland Creek retreat. Loved the horses. Loved the big family. Loved the tradition of Sunday dinner. Gramma Grace was the best! Especially that intuition. Now let’s get to Noah and Fisher. The sparks immediately flew between then. This was a insta connection story. The story had many elements and layers. I enjoyed how Noah and Fisher navigated all those elements. Loved how they were there for each other. Loved how everyone came around to the idea. Can’t wait for more in this series.

I devoured this book! It only took me this long because I had work and a family to attend to but if I didn’t I would have finished it in one sitting. This story made me fall in love, horny and feel all the emotions in between

INTERMINABLE empezó bien pero el nivel de instalove me superó hasta a mí q no soy muy fan de los slowburn. literal se conocieron y al mes se amaban, se querian casar y tener hijos, its a band

4.5/5⭐️

Forbidden romance, age gap, ex’s dad, this book had it all. I loved every second of Fisher and Noah and am so excited for the her brothers’ books next!
