Right from the start, this book started tugging on my heart and never let up. After dealing with the loss of his daughter, Fisher is not in a good place. Ten years pass and he is trying to make amends with his son, Jase. He even moves to Sugarland Creek to be closer to him.
While at a nearby town's rodeo, the sizzling hot Noah catches his eye. It's the first time in years that he's been attracted to a woman - and Noah is just as attracted to him. After a hot flirting session at a bar, Fisher absolutely rocks Noah's world. She only finds out the next morning that he is the father of her former boyfriend, Jase. She runs out so fast and proceeds to ghost Fisher until she realizes he is going to be working at her family's ranch.
The heat never cooled between them, but there is no way they can be together, is there?
Just loved this book. Fisher is the ultimate in yummy. Can't wait to read more from this series!

Age Gap, Ex's Dad, Workplace Romance I mean checking all the boxes here!
This book has heavy themes - Grief and suicide but Brooke covered them so beautifully. There was heartbreak but also so much healing from many characters! Absolutely loved this book!
The banter between Fisher and Noah was great and made me smile and laugh but also the banter between Noah and Jase was equally as good! The brothers and Magnolia are also fantastic side characters and I cannot wait to dive into their stories!
Right well best go read the prequel now haha

OH MY LANTA. This book was sooo good
Loved it, perfect balance of romance, forbidden love, drama, and spice.
Very well written story that sucked me in deep the further I read. I literally felt like I was in the story, I felt all the emotions as the characters did.
The prologue broke my heart, but I needed to know more about how, and I needed to know what the connections were between the prologue and how it fit into the rest of the story once I got into the book.
I fell deep and hard for this story, just like Noah and Fisher did for each other. And I cant wait to read the story about the rest of the family, and seeing how this whole storyline progresses. Looking forward to Magnolia's story

One of my top books from 2023. Something about this book just did it for me!! I absolutely love Fisher and Noah. The tension is palpable, the banter, the suspense piece, I mean every part of the book hits. Each of the side characters have such an appeal to them without taking away from the main characters! Also grandma Hollis is my freaking fav!! Have I reread? YES will I continue to reread? YES

Here With Me is the first book in the Sugarland Creek series. Small Town + Cowboy + Age Gap = YES PLEASE! I really enjoyed this story. I loved the horse trainer x former bull rider combo. The ex-boyfriend's dad situation was messy, but I love a good forbidden romance. Fisher and Noah were great together. They tried hard to fight their attraction to each other, but their chemistry was undeniable. Fisher deals with a lot of grief and blames himself for his family's unfortunate circumstances, but being with Noah helped heal him in a way. I felt for him and wanted to hug him. Fisher is super swoony, and I loved how he cared for Noah. He was all in with her and wouldn't leave her side. Noah is a feisty, smart, and fun go-getter. She knows what she wants and works hard for it. I loved the Hollis family and need more of them. Here With Me is an entertaining read with tension, fun banter, heat, suspense, and all the feels.
Narration:
Maxine Mitchell and Tor Thom did a fantastic job narrating this story. Their performances were full of passion and emotion and captured my attention.

I enjoyed this book. There was nice development with the characters. Noah is the FMC who is a horse trainer. Fisher is the MMC who is a farrier. They meet at a horse show before Fisher becomes the farrier at Noah's family ranch.
The ranch had a no-dating policy which in the end they conveniently forgot about in the ending which I felt could have been more conflict. I would have liked to hear more about the family's reaction to their relationship as it was kind of quickly summed up in the end.
Overall this was a solid book, and it was not a pain to read.
Noah and Fisher did have some conflicts against them, but that does make sense since he was her ex's father. There was also the conflict with a competitor trainer which in my opinion was a little too intense for a horse community.
Spoiler
Craig trying to kill her and setting her barn with horses in it on fire was crazy. Some subtle sabotage would have been fine but this was very extreme.Spoiler
I also felt that Jake, Noah's ex, did not have enough of a reaction to their relationship. I feel like he should have had a stronger option as she was his girlfriend for a large portion of high school. I guess it was easier to make it less drama-filled.Overall this was a solid book, and it was not a pain to read.
Exs Dad!
This was a sweet, spicy age gap romance. Fisher and Noah have a one night stand at a rodeo before Noah finds out that Fisher is her Exs day. And he is also getting ready to start working for her family ranch. They try to remain friends so it doesn’t interfere with his relationship with his son but it doesn’t last long. They were very much in love.
I’m really looking forward to Magnolia and Tripps book.

I don’t want to bag on this book, it wasn’t all bad and I did enjoy it for the most part.
It just felt like it was super fast paced - which I don’t usually mind because I’m not always here for the long game, but this felt like they slept together and all of a sudden were in love and had mad chemistry, which I just didn’t pick up between them.
Also, fisher has demons and I get that, I do! But the man left his son for 10 years, came back and fell in love with his ex and all was well?! Jase was a bit douchey but there was room for a bit more drama there.
And why on earth were there no ‘g’s added to the end of words? I understand they’re supposed to be southern but it happened so often and it’s bugged me a little.
