The emotional pull at beginning had me not wanting to put this book down.
I’m always skeptical about books with ex’s dads but this book hit the nail right on the head!
The protectiveness against his own son? WOW…

Ex's dad and he's a hot cowboy.

Need I say more?

Ugh, that was hard to finish. I found out about this book via TikTok and I'm wondering when I'm going to stop listening to people promote books on that app. TikTok people should have to disclose if they are paid to promote whatever they're promoting. They referenced Birthday Girl and said this book was better than BG. No Fucking Way. Not even close. The male narrator had a terrible southern accent that selectively appeared.

the evolving story between Noah and Fisher is a beautiful one. between all of the trials these two faced, they were able to find love in each other. I highly recommend this one!

This book is SO good. If you loved Done and Dusted and are still feeling like living in your cowboy romance era, you’ll really enjoy this one, too. It’s got small town vibes. Forbidden romance. Age gap. Ex-boyfriend’s dad…spiccccccy. It’s also got the sweetest family and a hilarious best friend. Love some good side characters!

This is more than just a spicy romance, though. Each character, especially the male love interest, has experienced some serious trauma, and while he is very swoony, he’s also got a lot to work through, and Brooke handled this very well.

Make this book your next obsession. You will not be dissapointed.

Oh I loved this! There is nothing I love more than a small town cowboy book! I loved the ex boyfriend dad story line! I thought the story was very well written. The spice was amazing! I cannot wait for the next story!

Fisher & Noah

Age gap and forbidden romance can be hard for me to get into but Fisher & Noah made so much sense to me I got really into it.

And I loved the ranch and family and friends.
This is the first book in the Sugarland series and it definitely leaves you wanting more. It has an Elsie Silver feel if you are a fan.

Noah and Fisher. How do I put into words how perfect this couple is for the first book in the series. The chemistry between these two, was instant. The age gap perfection, add in the fact he’s not only an employee of her family’s ranch but her ex’s dad. These two were set to hit every hurtle they could.
I was picking this book up every single free moment I could. Noah and Fisher kept me guessing the whole book on how they’d achieve their happily ever after. And boy did they ever. Noah is such an empathetic heroine and it was so enjoyable to feel that come through the pages. A must read cowboy book, might just be my favorite book of the month.
