Y’all…. This book was so hawt!!! I love a dirty talking, ex-boyfriend’s dad romance and Brooke did this one so well! I loved Fischer and Noah from the first page and their chemistry was literally goals. I ate this book up, like devoured it without stopping because it was so good!
Maxine Mitchell and Tor Thom we’re literally perfect as Fischer and Noah and they made me love this book so much more!

This was one of the my favourite of the cowboy romance genre. Whilst the romance was the focus - each character had a deep and developed background that was fully fleshed out throughout the book. Although there were a vast amount of characters, each one contributed to the plot. This was also the perfect example of a man written by a woman because Fisher did everything perfectly.

Having read the Sugarland Creek prequel, ‘Come with Me’, I was very excited to read book 1 in this new series. Noah is an absolute firecracker and such a wonderful character, and gorgeous Fisher was her perfect match. From their first meeting, to the beautiful bonus epilogue, I loved every second of their story. Brooke Montgomery has filled the pages of this book with so much heart, heat, angst, love, intrigue, joy and family, I can’t wait to read more as the series continues.

I loved this so much more than I thought I would! There were just a few too many Taylor swift references that it felt forced. I also listened to the audiobook. while the female narrator was great, the male narrator did a fake country accent and I was sooo close to dnfing after the first time he spoke. But I pushed through and am so glad I did. Just read this one instead of listen to it would be my recommendation
