ex boyfriends dad x small town x cowboy romance x âge gap
glad i gave it a second chance because i did enjoy it. though that was noah a bit too big for her britches but she came across okay. ending was rushed again, i ljke something more drawn out then chucking a whole plot point just randomly at the end. ally to read the next

Here with Me by Brooke Montgomery
Sugarland Creek #1
Sizzling hot romance that had all the feels – loved Noah and Fischer!
What I liked:
* Noah: professional horse trainer, youngest of five and only daughter, works on Sugarland Creek Ranch with her family, excellent at what she does, adrenaline junkie, fun, responsible, caring, kind, takes no guff, knows what she wants and states it openly, empathetic, perfect for and with Fischer
* Fischer: farrier, retired professional bull rider, divorced, father looking for second chance with his son, attractive, knows his way around a horse, knew what he wanted when he first saw Noah, strong, kind, caring, there for those he cares about, perfect for and with Noah
* Noah’s family: mother, father, grandmother, and four siblings – all have big parts in the story
* Jase: Fisher’s son, realtor, Noah’s ex-boyfriend, dealing with grief and abandonment issues, grew on me through the story
* Magnolia: Noah’s best friend, outgoing, open, free, has a crush on Noah’s brother, dreams of having her own business, has a big surprise reveal at the end of the book
* The horse training parts and learning more about the business
* That Karma worked things out well for most everyone
* Looking forward to the next book in the series
* Reading a new-to-me author that I would like to read again
What I didn’t like:
* Who and what I was meant not to like
* Thinking about how painful it would be to lose a child, animal, or anything one truly loved
Did I like this book? Yes
Would I read more in this series? Yes
Thank you to the author and IndiePenPR for the ARC – This is my honest review.

My favorite tropes and a ranch setting? Yes, please! This book gave me all the feels; a devastating loss that had me in tears, laughing out loud, angst, danger, and devotion to these endearing characters!
The morning after her first hookup, Noah (fmc) discovers that the incredible man she spent the night with is her ex’s estranged father. So she sneaks out. She’ll never see him again anyway, so she’ll keep this secret to herself (and her bff). All’s fine until he turns out to be the new ferrier at her family’s ranch.
While this book definitely hits on some heavy topics, it is balanced with fun, humor, and healing. The moment that Noah is introduced to Fisher as the new ferrier had me laughing out loud while also cringing in sympathy for Noah! The sibling banter plus a mechanical bull, a ride or die bff, and the intense chemistry between Noah and Fisher made this book a wild ride.
