After seeing Peter Reynolds in person, I had to read more of his books! My main wish for this one was that it seemed like it was over too soon.

Beautiful artwork with a great story. Good for children interested in painting for the first time.

Cross-curricular possibilities of this book between art, library, and English are numerous. Peter Reynolds' illustrations give me a BIG Quentin Blake vibe. Also, LOVE the illustration of the teacher and especially LOVE Marisol's hair!

I love watching the shifting colors of the sky, so this one was fun for me to read. I would recommend Preschool to first or second grade.

This is a cute children’s picture book about a young girl and her creative way to paint the sky when she realizes she can’t find the blue paint.
