I’m so happy these graphic novels were published. They are so fun and nostalgic but also cover such heavy topics so well just like the original series did. The next few installments have a different artist so I’m interested to see what they’re like, but I’ve loved 1-4 with Raina Telgemeier’s work.

Kept me guessing the entire time as to whether Janine was really a robot. A+ outfits from Claudia's closet.

Don’t know what was wrong with me the first time I read this, it’s pretty darn adorable. Preparing for a BSC March Break program with lots of reading!

Another graphix novel in the BSC series, this is book #4. This time our attention is called to Claudia, who has to deal with her difficult sister Janine. She states that they are very different people and have a hard time getting along. When Claudia’s grandma get sick, she has to learn to get along with her sister for her grandma’s sake. An interesting book and just as good as I remember! I love reading the books in this format. It is one more way the characters really come alive for me.
