Leave Him Loved was a sweet and light slow burn.

Audria is a city girl who has just moved to a small town states away for her first big teaching job after graduation. She meets Reeve on her first day in town by literally running into him at the grocery store. Sparks immediately ignite, but both of them are in denial and choosing to ignore them.

Instead they go on a series of friend dates. It was clear to everyone around them that they were made for each other, so it was highly satisfying when they eventually gave in and started dating.

Audria was super snarky and full of witty banter and her dialogue with Reeve was pretty entertaining…for a while. Then it just got to be a little old, as if the story was dragging and this “no longer funny” dialogue was put there as a place holder.

Reeve was super swoony and adorable. I didn’t like Audria as much. She seemed to purposefully ignore the truths about their relationship and didn’t accept her share of the blame between their major conflict. But their chemistry together was fire.

Another great small town romance by Harloe Rae!

Reeve Colton is the stuff swoony dreams are made of. Their chemistry and banter was enticing. I could not put it down. I loved Audria's sassiness and she was just so sweet. The sexual tension between Audria and Reeve was palpable. Their journey was fun, sweet, sexy and entertaining. Great supporting characters too. Never have I ever done a lot of their date adventures and Reeve made me want to. If I had a sexy farmer like him showing me the ropes, I'd quickly become a country girl too. Epic story of a farmer and city gal crashing in love. Harloe Rae never disappoints, every story gets better and better. She did an excellent job at a fun and exciting story.

I am a huge Harloe Rae fan and this new story from her is swoontastic!

This is the story of Audria and Reeve. A city girl and a farmer boy. This is a total opposites attract kinda romance and I was hooked from the get go!

As a Minnesota gal myself, I love that Ms. Rae uses our region as the back drop to her story and the small town of Bampton Valley is beautifully written and honestly real! Living in a small town is no joke and when Audria moves there she has a bit of culture shock.

Reeve is the epitome of a country/farmer man. He was born and bred in Bampton and his series of never-ever dates even swayed me into loving small town life.

Their chemistry and I am going to quote the author here, “could reverse the windchill in January”! I love this quote so much it may be used in future reviews (I will totally give Ms. Rae credit of course!) I was shaking my head at the audacity at the rules they created for their “not” relationship. You knew those rules were meant to be broken!

I hope this isn’t the last we see of the people of Bampton Valley, there are so many characters that need their own stories too!

Ah the city girl and the town heartbreaker! What could go wrong? Well not when they friendzone each other but even then, that connection is intense between Reeve and Audria. What started out as a stopping place for Audria turned out to be so much more as friendships are made and the realization that she didn’t need the city to be happy at times. But Reeve, in his swoon worthy takes Audria under his wing and let the fun commence. I laughed so hard at these two as they fought their feelings and chemistry. Between the Friends moments with Gavin, the friendship with Bea and so much more, I loved seeing Audria’s character grow and build in Bampton Valley. My heart ached for these two as Reeve fights his feelings and fights the inevitable of Audria leaving after her contract is up. Oh I wanted to smack that boy.
I think what I adored about this story is that it was low drama and felt real. The way their relationship built to their fights. It felt like I was there watching it play out. Their wit, banter and chemistry was off the charts. I could not get enough!

I received an arc for a honest review.

I love how Harloe's books are different every time I read it. This one is off on the sweet, swoony, cute read. I legit swooned so hard. It was quite a slow burn, but not angsty.

Reeve and Audria were everything. Audria just got a job in a small town, Bampton. She moved to town and was not expecting to meet the man who would swept her off her feet. Reeve got me smiling and swooning right and left. The things he do for Audria was the best.

If you want to read a cute love story, pick this one up. I just finished reading a dark romance so I needed this cute read.
