Charming small town romance that's packed full of sexy swoon and laugh out loud antics. Five stars for this book escape that will leave you longing to try out country living.
Swoony and sexy
I LOVE Reeve! He’s absolutely swoony. Audria and Reeve are a fantastic couple, and their story was perfect for them. The author wrote their story with hilarious banter, entertaining never-ever dates, and plenty of steam. I will say that the middle of the book (though filled with lots of intense dates and interesting interactions) was pretty slow. It took me longer to read this book than it usually takes me, but I really did love it and I think those interactions made the ending more... spectacular.

3 and a half, cowboy loving stars.

With Harloe Rae, you never know what kinda hero your gonna get,
he's either going to be OTT sweet or his gonna be a down right jerkhole.
Revee Colton, corn farmer, fell somewhere in the middle, a total sweet heart, a charmer, and according to Dottie the little ol' gossip of the town, such a heart breaker, and boy oh boy did it work for his character.
After loosing the job she was holding out for, Audria has no choice but take a teaching role somewhere she least expected. The time spent in her classroom were parts of the story I really enjoyed, weird probably, but personally these little scenes really showed the person Audria was outside of her "Friend Zone/Friend's with benefits" relationship with Revee,

As a whole Aurdia's character seemed such a scaredy cat, but Revee pushed her limits and she tried new things that she actually maybe even enjoyed in the end. I would have loved to have seen a bit more depth and character development form Audria's perspective, but for this book, Reeve stole the show, along with his best friend Gavin and Niece Gabby.

As a whole, this book didn't capture my attention like previous Harloe Rae books, but just because it took me longer to finish doesn't mean that it wasn't worth reading or that the slow burn wasn't worth that ending.

Small town love
What a great book! I've been in a funk lately, found this on my kindle and jumped in. I love how you story takes place in small town Iowa! Their chemistry was on fire! Great book!

Good funny book. Love the sassy ness of Audria, and the cuteness with Reeve. Told from each other perspectives. They had instant attraction but neither wants a relationship. But then they decide friends with benefits after months of trying to deny their attraction. Love the small town vibe and the noseybodys wanting to know all the gossip. The friendships that Audria builds.
The books skips time a lot. Time passes between chapters but it’s not alway obvious at first or how long has passed. You think the next chapter is going to continue but then realize it’s a different time (sometimes pages) and then keep reading to figure out how much.
Reeve says babe way too much. They each keep skirting around what they want but don’t ever talk about it with each other. If you know there’s an end date why play games and not be honest.

1.5 🌶️
Audria and Reeve's chemistry is sizzling but the mis communication and slow burn meant that this book fell short for me.
This book had great potential it just didn't quite hit the 4-5 star spot for me.

Just wasn’t for me. The characters seemed like they were trying to hard to be witty and I just wasn’t a huge fan of Reeves. Maybe I’ll try again at some point.

always love city girl and country boy love story. The timeline skips ahead in a few places that I would have loved to have details on, but definitely wasn’t necessary. Also could have used correct livestock terms (heifer: female cattle that hasn’t produced offspring, only cows that have calved produce milk) but overall loved it! I want to see a flipped version of city girl bringing country boy to her world too
I loved this city girl stuck in a small town story. Its got cowboys, sassy heroines and even sassier kids.
All the heart eyes!!! Harloe brings it yet again when she brought us Reeve and Audria in 'Leave Him Loved'. I swooned, I laughed, I groaned, and I cried. I LOVED this book! So, so much. It holds even more of a special place in my heart for being set in my home state! So many relatable things that made me laugh.
Leave Him Loved is a book I have no doubt I'll read again. Their story was amazing and I loved it so much. The never-ever dates, the farmer swag. Just loved everything about this book! You won't regret reading this one!
