Too long...too many story lines...glad I finished the trilogy and Lisbeth got her revenge. All in all, not a huge Stieg Larsson fan after this.

It took me forever but, I finally finished this!!

The trilogy is gripping and I am sorry it has come to an end.

I put off reading this, knowing it was the last one and that I would need a good window to read it straight through. It didn't disappoint. A complex tale of intrigue and politics. Good central characters. Somewhat confusing Swedish names (like reading Tolkien or a Russian novel). A fine way to spend a sunny afternoon.

Another amazing book, I just didn't like how it ended. It seemed like Mr. Larsson simply got tired of writing this story:( I would still recommend it though:) Enjoy!

This was definitely my least favorite book in the series. Like others have said, I found the first 3/4 of it pretty dull. The teeny details of police procedure, history of espionage in Sweden and other things dragged the story down. I also found the Erica Berger side story added nothing to the book and the dozens of police characters did nothing for me either. I think this book needed a good editor.

That said, the last 1/4 of the book hummed along nicely. I liked the trial scenes and the final warehouse scene with Salander and her half brother had me on the edge of my seat. I loved how that end was wrapped up. Lisbeth Salander remains one of my favorite fictional characters to date. I wish there'd been more of her (well, more of her doing something other than lying in a hospital bed) in this book.

I thought it was an excellent book. The pace was fast, the information huge, and he did less of his annoying trends (talking about what they eat and such) less and less then the last two books. In fact I thought it was a very tightly written book that gave me a satisfying end to the trilogy. My only gripe is that I wasn`t given any information as to what happened to any of the characters. What is the deal with Monica and Michael? What is Berger up to? Malm, Modig, Bublanski. TELEBORIAN FOR GODS SAKE. IS PALMGREN STILL ALIVE?

That is my only gripe. Good book
dark mysterious tense medium-paced

Good book but probably could have been a hundred pages shorter.

It's been a few years since I read books 1 and 2 and I forgot how good they are!

Seemed more like a first draft than a completed novel; lacked the umph and verve of the first in the series
