I really enjoyed this book, and highly recommend the audiobook.

I can tell that Donnie Wahlberg was definitely the muse for Eli. I mean they both happen to be in a famous boy band, over 40, play cops on TV, and the band names were ridiculously similar.

I loved the meet cute, and while there was a very heartbreaking moment in this book, listening to Andi Arndt voice Stephanie just made her character come to life.

First, this is Taste of Romance book of the month and I have to say it is a really good choice
The amount of depth and emotions in this book it just amazing and different.
The writing is good, not exactly lyrical but you will get the point.
It talks about break up, death, grief , loss and even fandom culture.

It begins with Heather who is a cop finally catching the eye of one of the guys of a boy band she is a fan of. He invite her on stage to serenade her then he invites her back stage. Eli of course is the guy of every fangirl dreams and since Heather's friends have been pulling her to let loose after her divorce, she decides to take in up on his offer and goes back stage. After mind blowing sex, she disappears and surely Eli can't get her out of his mind

He looks for her and finds her, only to discover that she is more than she seems. She has constantly dealt with loss and soon she loses her sister to Huntington disease and he began to worry if his love for her will be reciprocated when she finds out that he as Multiple Sclerosis.
But of course things goes all lovey dovey and they find each other with themselves and they get married, you know how romance in novels are 😩
Anyways, I did enjoy this book so hence the 3.5 stars

This audiobook was fine. It was entertaining but I feel that it was pretty forgettable. I didn’t feel super connected to the characters. I definitely don’t think I’ll read it again but I enjoyed it.
