I got halfway through this book but didn’t end up finishing it. I figured if I got halfway through the book and I didn’t enjoy reading it or learn anything from it, then I didn’t need to finish it.
This book centers the male perspective with lots of talk about penises. I am a lesbian woman. While I was hopeful that the content would be helpful regardless but my wife and I found it difficult to move past the heavy male perspective. I think it’s probably still a valuable read for anyone who better fits this perspective but just wasn’t for us.
This could have been an article, but somehow became a book.
Clitoris: the missing manual. Very interesting content, but oh dear Goddess, this writing style... Single page-long chapters, flowery and completely superfluous quotes and occasional tap dancing around a particular topic, as if suddenly the author got infected with shyness.
Someone should just edit this down to a three page leaflet 🤪

I’m not gonna write a full review for this; I’ll just say, you need to read it. You know who you are.

a good and informative read for somebody who doesn't know the female body well, but if u do, welp it's more like somebody telling me the earth is round.
although i do understand I wasn't exactly the direct audience for this book haha
