It was obvious that such an exciting topic couldn't be approached without speculations. I wished there were more facts and less guessing. But I would recommend the book!

I am not even interested in military tactics, WWII or military history, but this was fascinating! Such an interesting lens to look through when discussing WWII.

An absolutely fascinating look at the incredibly screwed-up history of drug use in Nazi Germany. Hitler receiving daily injections of cocaine and animal hormones, methed-up child soldiers piloting suicide submarines… Ohler doesn’t quite land the transition from novels to non-fiction, and the English translation needs some work, but Blitzed was a wild ride from start to finish.
