This series is fantastic! There wasn’t as much plot in this one as the first one until the last 10% but that’s because there wasn’t so much character development. Bree and her friends spent the majority of the time on the run while Bree was learning about herself, her history, and how to control her abilities.
I loved learning more about her and her family history throughout the story. 
Her and Sel’s relationship is PHENOMENAL!! A true enemies-to-lovers (kinda) since he did literally want to kill her at the beginning.
I don’t thoroughly enjoy the dynamic between her, Sel, and Nick. It’s a bit strange and is almost borderline polyamorous which I don’t like. Hopefully that gets fixed in the last book and she just chooses one.
Overall a great book!
