I have a long history with sports romances where I want to say it’s a genre I enjoy but I tend to dnf more sports romances than any other genre. But I enjoyed this one…
until I could tell the author had started plotting the sequels and information about future MMCs was omitted or never introduced on the page but was referenced like the reader was supposed to know what the characters were talking about. I even backed out of the book at one point to double check that I was, in fact, reading the first in the series.

I listened to this and the female narrators voice was just not for me. I couldn’t keep listening so I DNF
