It was good- it just took til almost the end of the book to actually get to the “thriller” parts.

The end felt rushed and left too many questions unanswered.

I just want to start off my review by saying when I was 8 I had the biggest fascination with the Bermuda Triangle ever. Of course a book about a mysterious tropical island is going to pique my interest. The one thing I love about thrillers is that the synopsis alone is usually enough to keep me going through the book. The beginning was a little slow, but as soon as the arrived at Meroe Island, I needed to solve the mystery that was and is Meroe. Even with the build up of history in the mini “before” chapters that discussed the characters lives leading up to coming to the island, it took me until the very end to see the twist. Which I love that I wasn’t able to call it 100% half way into it. If you are looking for a thriller that also shows you the true perks to being a final girl this is the book for you.
