I truly love how fawn loves clay, I love how she’s insecure and clay squashes her insecurities how aurora is there helping her understand that she has clay. Love the brothers very glad clay is there for him. Overall loved this series sooo dang much!!! Definitely worth the wait

Honestly this book was so much better than the first one personally. There was a lot more plot to it alongside with the romance. It was exactly what I was hoping for the first book but I'm glad the second book done its justice.

As I said in my review of Pretty Little Burden - I wish Fawn would have been a little more feisty.
I read this because the first book ended in a cliffhanger and I would’ve gone crazy not knowing what happened.

This duet was the most surprising, in a delicious way. Clay is barely mentioned in the other books of the series and is married, so I wasn’t expecting much. And you know what? He is my favorite of the brothers! So fucking controlling and possessive! Fuck me!
This was also the spiciest of the series.
I really loved this duet it was the icing on top of the cake, because it concludes the plot that’s been developing since the first book in the series in a very nice way.
Note this is a very dark romance, that has very dark themes so please check trigger warnings. It really is heartbreaking at times.
That being said, I read this duet in 24 hours because I couldn’t do anything else until I knew how this story would end. So if you want to do a marathon, give this one a go
