The only thing that got me through this book is that I’ve heard all the rest of the books are amazing.

I kind of hate both of the main characters though as I went along Magnolia grew on me while I wanted to chuck BJ into the nearest bin so Magnolia could live her life away from the chaos he causes.  Towards the end, I found it very unfair how Magnolia was villainized because other men were also in love with her like that’s somehow her fault.

Anyhoo, here’s hoping the next ones redeem this!

Ok so this was entertaining but by the end I was completely over the avoidance of emotions like just hash it all out. Mind blowing betrayal but also… not rlly that surprising like BJ is a 100% dick, Parks should be with Tom. I am team tom like screw BJ and his shit behavior. The characters are complicated and if I met them in real life I would probably think they’re all assholes but I enjoy reading about their hellish lives
