(3.5) elizabeth o'roark's books have to be studied.... i loved erin and brendan, but sometimes i felt like they needed to communicate better AND more with each other (and quick, because when the thing with rob kept dragging on.....

4 Stars ⭐️⭐️ This was a good story, with a realistic storyline and was easy to get sucked into. I really liked it and am glad I read it. The reason for 4 instead of 5 Stars is because of how much I loved Waking Olivia. I’m still suffering from a book hangover from that book and although this story was great, I wasn’t as connected to the Brendon and Erin as I wanted to be. Still a good read though!

DNF Chapter 5. So bad already. will not waste any more of my time.
3.5 stars. I LOVED Waking Olivia so I was hoping this book would be equally amazing but I was disappointed. One thing I loved about Waking Olivia was the family aspect and in this book the family was relatively removed. Both characters had their flaws, but Erin spent all of this time getting herself back just to crumple the minute things got hard? Overall I liked the story, but I didn’t enjoy the dual timeline and the mess.
