A book with an indecisive fl and a playboy ml who cannot for the love of all things communicate with each other. I needed them to get rid of rob by doing more and they didn’t which is absolutely disappointing.
3/5*
This is a story about Brendan and Erin - a girl who's about to marry Rob - Brendan's best friend.
I feel like this book has almost no plot at all. We just get to see Erin with Rob, Rob getting away for work, Erin getting together with Brendan, splitting and getting back with Rob and then happy ending. I liked the first part of the book - until Rob left to Europe and Erin get together with Brendan. Then we have just a huge part of book being solely about them both being together and spending time together. I get that there are some things tackled in the meantime but it felt like not enough.
The main flaw of this book is Erin and Brendan - I didn't like either of them. Brendan for the most of the book was terrible for Erin, he treated her poorly. He was with her and then he did something bad - like ignoring her at a party or not wanting to take her out. There were times when I hated him (and I know it was because Brendan was blaming himself for what happened with Gabi but imo it's hardly an excuse). He was bad to Erin and I was quite a few times I was expecting her to dump him, but she was taking him back every single time. And that's the second thing - Erin was kind of stupid imo. She let Brendan treat her badly just like she let Rob treat her badly before. And then, when Rob came back, she got back with him - why? There was no reason for her to, maybe apart from her fear to be single first time in four years. Actually, there was a moment I actually hoped she would end up with Rob (which obviously couldn't happen in a romance) or completely alone, not with Brendan. Plus, Erin was a totally different person than she was in the first book in the series and I definitely preferred her in "Waking Olivia".
3* because the beginning of the book and the ending were ok. The rest was kind of boring - but I got through it 'cause I'm not the best with DNFing my reads.

I loved this book so hard!! Once I got like past the first chapter, I really enjoyed this book. It was well thought out, well written, and the story was not contrived. This is a love story plain and simple, there is no action, its more emotional. The story is raw, loving, naughty, and forgiving. Do yourself a favor and pick up this book.

I definitely enjoyed this more than Waking Olivia but, it was still overall just an okay book for me. The story between Erin and Brendan was cute and there was lots of history between them. A LOT of miscommunication but I appreciated seeing Brendan's pining and work into making sure Erin knew the truth about her fiancee. There were some heavy parts in this book but I was definitely more prepared after reading Waking Olivia.

4 ⭐️ welpppp another day another book devoured. I really enjoy this authors writing and it’s so easy to read and the banter between the characters and the relationships are great.
I didn’t enjoy this one quite as much as Waking Olivia which was an amazing 5 star read! But even though this wasn’t a 5 star rating for me it was still a good read! Excited to read more by this author!

This was a fun book with a ton of drama and angst. Also a first read by this author! I really enjoyed it! Five stars!

As I was reading it I enjoyed it. But it's been a few weeks and I honestly cannot remember a single thing about it.
