The audio for this was absolutely incredible. I really enjoyed listening much more than I think I would have enjoyed reading. Ruth Ware did not disappoint on the story here either. Kept me interested all the way through.

The amount of boredom this book gave me. I was pulled in by the premise, but then the execution fell flat. This supposed Lying Game was hyped up so much but I was disappointed with the amount of time we spent with their younger selves. Isa didn't voice that Ambrose was probably murdered until 3/4 of the way into the novel, when it was already so obvious. Like yes girl we know that's what we're here for 😭 I wish that the murder possibility was established earlier. Isa was also so annoying. Girl storms out on her husband, saying how ridiculous it is that she
would take Freya and immediately go and sleep with another man, and then she goes and cheats on him anyway
!!! The amount of times that the author writes "the ghosts of our past selves" "the people we once were" "our fifteen year old selves" PLEASE I GET IT THEY'RE BEING HAUNTED BY THE PAST. The book could've been shorter just by cutting out the repetition of things that have already been said. The stakes of the plot were just so low I was frustrated. Then the last page had me rolling my eyes. Anyways clearly just not what I wanted out of this novel. The writing itself was descriptive and definitely the setting was there, but it still got so boring. Basically it was house, train, Salten, train, house, train, Salten, and a little bit of cab. Also what were those subtle
Thea/Isa
implications only to not do anything with it? BOOORING. Justice for Owen, truely.
