This was so unnecessarily long, and the twists were not unexpected. Not a fan.

Didn't intrigue me the way a thriller should. You'd probably be fine just reading the last 100 pages. Protagonist was really annoying and could not understand the rationale behind any of the characters' actions. Would probably be able to be made into an alright movie - maybe what she was going for.

Loooove. I love how clever Ruth Ware is. The surprises kept coming just when I think it couldn't get better.
The knowledge of how fragile the house is, the way Kate first introduced Luke to the girls.
Everything mentioned is intentional and very clever. I LOVE the pretty little liars vibes (this is a million times better of course).
I loved all the characters' flaws and the way they all loved each other, like a kind of sickly codependence.

I really enjoyed this book. Parts of the ending felt a bit rushed, but it was fun to read. 3 1/2 - 4 stars
