I really liked this book. I enjoyed the twist throughout the book. I also enjoyed the characters and their personalities I would recommend ages 13 and up.

I really enjoyed this book! I read this years ago, multiple times, as a late teen and loved it then and the story still holds together well. It's fast paced and exciting. The characters are well developed and David's perspective as a narrator is consistent and he makes for a trustworthy guide through the world of this supervillain laden dystopia. I hope to include this in my assigned readings for my 7th graders in the upcoming semester. I've read this on paper and listened to it on audio. If you're one for audio books, the narrator for this one is excellent.
Brandon Sanderson has a great style, with a flair for interesting turns of phrase. I was intrigued by a world where super villains suddenly exist, with no one powerful enough to stop them. Enter unlikely heroes.
I really enjoyed this story. It kept my interest throughout and did not contain any additional garbage, ie swearing, sexual content, etc.
I recommend for 12 and up.

Es el primer libro de Brandon Sanderson que leo y la verdad que la gente no exageraba cuando hablaban de lo buen autor que era. El libro me encantó, diez de diez, no puedo esperar s leer los siguientes libros de la trilogía.
Story ideas had alot of promise but after 100 pages I didn't really see characters developing fast enough to hold my interest.
I decided to give it one more chance before abandoning and it did pickup and the characters stayed developing some depth to my liking. I enjoyed the ending but there were some lulls still so I don't think I'll be picking up the other books in the series.
