I picked this book because it’s short and I wanted to finish it before I went to Puerto Rico which I successfully did. There was a lot of italian references that went over my head. It was fine but there wasn’t much there for me to care about or relate to.

So pointless. Grabbed this from Libby since it was a short audiobook. I still don't know the point of the book. There isn't a single likable character and the narrator is the worst of all of them.
I loved this tormented novella about the complexities of motherhood and the tortured choices inherent in the roles women are expected to play.
The translation was excellent as was the audiobook narration.
