ehh, didn't enjoy it as much as book two. glad somethings got resolved that were making it hard to read. can't wait to see where the story goes from here
Reading other people's comments, I thought for sure this was going to be the worst book of the "triology," but I liked it the best. The second book got tiresome with its constant reference to Clary and Jace being brother and sister when anyone could clearly see that that was not quite the truth. Although the "revelations" at the end of this book were predictable, it wrapped things up very satisfyingly.

I cannot with the revelations in this book but at the same time amazed by all of that plot twists, it was so many my head hurts so good. Like what do you mean Jace and Clary are not really siblings which I somehow already knew because I got spoiled but reading the explanations in this book was relieving considering reading the second. I feel so bad for Jace and Clary, being played and manipulated by their supposedly father. I feel like I felt all the emotions reading this book but mostly anxiousness as I read every chapter, that there is character will gonna die like please I can't handle anymore death after Max. Hindi ko lang alam sa mga susunod na books but please no. I loved all the characters here. The unexpected friendships. Oh, found family, you will always be loved by me.

I really, really liked this series of books. Several adult themes run through them and I am not ready to let my 13 year old read them yet. But I would recommend them to older teens.
