4,5/5 stars!

This series is decent. Always quick for them to get together and then there isn't as much turmoil or angst that they need to go through for character growth. This one was a little better. The bonus chapter was a waste though.

You know how normally the title is in the book once or twice.... Yeah, no. I lost count how many times he called her Ever Mine.

I just didn't really like it. I was bored and the writing seemed disjointed. I enjoyed the first one but this one was just not it for me. I'm still going to try the third as the plot intrigues me but it might be my last in the series if it's anything like this one.

Fun and easy read!

I am a sucker for second chance romances and this did not disappoint. I do wish we would have gotten to see some of Everly and Hawk’s back story.

At first I thought that a 9 year gap between the last time they had contact was ridiculous. Especially since they had just graduated high school the last they spoke and were now grown adults. But, there was a scene where, after seeing Hawk’s condo, Everly said that they each have lives the other knows nothing about. To which Hawk’s response was “Listen, you’re my past and you’re my future. If we have to catch up on the present, I don’t have a problem with that. I want to know everything about you.” Which really helped me get over that big of a time gap because what he said weirdly made sense.

I was also very proud of the growth that Everly showed. And was even more thrilled that there was not a third act break up. Especially because some things happened that countless other FMCs have spiraled and overreacted about causing break ups - but Ms. Everly said no with the immaturity and I am happy about that.

This is the second book in the Honey Mountain series by Laura Pavlov. It is a second-chance sports romance that is so easy to read and listen too. Lots of feels, emotions, and great chemistry between Hawke and Everly. These two meet in high school and are the ‘it couple’. They are madly in love planning their future together. Then senior year all the changes when Everly’s world changes. She runs away from her family and the only boy she has ever loved. They fall back into connection nine years later. Their chemistry is incredible. Loved seeing the growth of the two characters in the years. Audio narration was done beautifully by Sarah McEwan and James Gloucester

This was so emotional, yet totally swoonworthy!

Let me start by saying, I was so engrossed in Hawk and Everly's world, I just couldn't put it down, or if I really had to stop and put it aside, I was thinking about it.

Like previously mentioned, this book was filled with so many emotions! There were moments that broke my heart, and there were moments that filled my heart with love.
Hawk was amazing in so many ways; sweet, caring, protective and loyal. I wasn't ready for him. I fell in love with him on the spot. Everly was so sweet; scared but also very brave. Their story... Gah, all the feels!

I loved this book. I cannot wait for the next one!
