dark mysterious tense

I feel this was about 100 pages too long. I'm not entirely sure what the Wales storyline added and I feel a shorter length would have made the whole thing a bit snappier and much more fun to read.

This was such a slow start but once I got into it, I was hooked. It’s atmospheric and gothic in all of the best ways. I loved the mystery and how everything unfolded.

Hated it. Just like the other book The Leviathan it was soooooo long and boring and nothing seemed to happen til the end. Couldn’t wait to finish it. And the fact at the end you had no clue what happened to any of the main characters made it even more frustrating!
