one of the best books i read this year tbh! loved the storytelling and the different povs! 70’s rock and that culture is one of my favs to learn about and even though it’s a fictional band and fictional story it felt so real! tv show did a really good job too! LOVED

Idk if I just didn’t like the style of writing or if it was truly boring. Everyone seems to rate this book so high so I’m thinking it’s just me??? Either way nothing of significance happened and I felt myself skimming through lots of this book just to finish it

Brilliant book! It had been on my TBR for ages, and when I finally got round to reading it... wow.
One of my favourite books. It made me laugh (and cry), the band felt so real. When I picked it up I was thinking 'this will be a light-hearted read'. You know people were saying sex, drugs and music. But it's so much more. I loved it so much.
Also, it was a really easy read as it was all dialogue.

Another stellar book by Taylor Jenkins Reid about the rock and roll scene in the late sixties onward told through the experiences of the band Daisy Jones and the Six. It has all the makings of an interesting story, about the group, their dynamics, and how they all came to be a part of it. Told in interview style from each perspective. A true music lovers treat!
